Sunday 13th July marked the last day in Libya for Sr. Giuseppina Cattizone after 34 years of service to her community of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Ivrea based in Jam Hurriya Hospital in Benghazi.

Sr. Giuseppina has spent 60 years of her religious life in the missions, namely the Holy Land, Turkey and Benghazi, Libya, serving her Sisters especially in the kitchen and garden.

She leaves a formidable memory of indefatigable service to the Church in Benghazi.  She was accompanied back to Rome by Sister Elisabetta Manganiello who has been serving the Church in Benghazi for 46 years.
