As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the different Christian Denomination in Tripoli, Libya, organised four prayer meetings together. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, celebrated between the 19th and 25th of January, this year was focused on the question taken from the Book of Micah:  “What does the Lord ask of us?”  All resources were prepared by an ecumenical group of students in Southern India. On the 28th December, a Christmas gathering was held at the Porziuncola Retreat House in Bahar ic-Caghaq for the friars and their families. The evening began with a Con-Celebration presided by the minister Provincial, Fr. Sandro Overend OFM in the main Chapel of the Retreat House. The Manager, Mr. Edward Vella, together with the Staff of the House, offered a buffet to all who were present, immediately after the mass. (more…)

He ( the Son of God)  became man by the Virgin, in order that the disobedience which proceeded from the serpent might receive its destruction in the same manner in which it derived its origin.
