On the 12th of February 2011 Mgr. Joe Bonello as ordained Bishop at Saint Geltrude Church in Juticalpa, Olancho Honduras. On the 20th January 2011, an evening was dedicated to the memory of the late Fr John Abela. The evening focused on the expertise and talent that marked Fr John’s many experiences.  These were mainly the theatre, his work in the Holy Land, together with IT where he excelled in computer knowledge. Sandro Overend OFM and the Vicar Provincial Fr. Richard S. Grech have been visiting the Maltese communities with their respective Franciscan Pastors, in George Town (Tasmania) and Adelaide in Australia. Fr.
