On Saturday 11 August in the evening the feast of St. Clare was celebrated at St. Clare's Monastery. At around 6.30 the Archbishop of Malta Mgr. Paul Cremona arrived at the monastery, where he conducted the festive Mass. 
Frs. Joseph Magro and Lorrie Zerafa returned from the Chapter of Mats for friars under 10 years of solemn Profession which was held in the Holy Land. During these days the friars reflected upon the future prospects of the Franciscan Order. 
In these days friars will be giving their pastoral service abroad to help with the sacrament of reconciliation, in sanctuaries in Rome and Assisi to help with the flow of pilgrimages that visit these places. 
The GIFRA of Hamrun are helping the Sisters of Mother Theresa in a summer school in Tunis with drama, crafts, catechism, language and games. The 12 youths who are currently engaged in this voluntary work have worked beforehand to raise funding for this project.
