As part of the celebrations to commemorate the Pauline Year and the 800 years from the approval of the Francsican rule, Archbishop Paul Cremona is to lead a national Way of the Cross tomorrow 8th April, at 8pm in Rabat.

The Way of the Cross, which has been written by Fr Marcello Ghirlando OFM, begins from the Franciscan Church of St. Mary of Jesus (Ta’ Ġieżu) and will pass from the following streets round Rabat: S. Ġużepp, S. Wistin, Saqqajja, Saura, G. Borġ Olivier, S. Publiju, S. Marija, il-Kulleġġ, Ferris, Kan. Ġ Gatt Said, Rudolf Saliba, S. Agata to the parish square.  Along the street the statue of the Crucified Christ will be carried.

The Way of the Cross is begin organized by RTK Radio together with the Pastoral Secretariat of the Archdiocese of Malta.
