On 12th June Fathers Peter Paul Mailaq and John Schranz celebrated the anniversary of their 60th year of priesthood.  The Bishop of Gozo, Mgr. Mario Grech, presided the Mass,together with the two Franciscan priests and other priests residing in the rest home for elderly priests, “Dar tal-Kleru Christus Sacerdos” in Birkirkara.

At the end of the Mass Fr. Richard Stanley Grech OFM, Provincial Vicar, read the apostolic blessing of the Pope and the greetings of the Minister General and the Provinical, who is currently in Assisi attending the General Chapter of the Order of Friars Minor.
