On 1st July, feast of the Blessed Nazju Falzon, a new monument was inaugurated in the Church of Saint Mary of Jesus, Valletta, where his relics are enshrined. The monument, placed on the place where the Blessed Nazju had formerly been buried, was blessed by the Archbishop of Malta, Mgr. Joseph Mercieca, during a concelebrated Mass with the Franciscan Fraternity.
The sarcophagus in which the remains of the Blessed are enshrined was incensed and placed in the monumental shrine for the veneration of the faithful.
