On Saturday 19^th December, Fr. Stephen Magro OFM will be ordained Deacon at our Franciscan Church at Ghajnielem Gozo by His Excellence, the Bishop of Gozo, Mario Grech.  In preparation for this occasion, a prayer vigil will be held at the Ghajsielem Parish Church on the 18^th December at 18:30.

Fr Stephen was born at Floriana in 1963.  On October 7^th 1987, he began his Franciscan journey as a postulant and after two years he received the Franciscan habit. On the 17^th September 1990 he made his first temporary profession and on the 1^st October 1995 he made his solemn profession.  Father Stephen followed his studies in Theology at the Institute of Religious Studies.  During these last years, he continued his studies at the Major Seminary at Gozo.

At Province level, he served as Provincial Definator, Guardian, Vocational Animator, Master of Postulants and Students, Director of Altar boys and Sexton in various Franciscan Churches.
