On 2 August, feast of Saint Mary of the Angels, or Porziuncola, a new set of electronic bells was inaugurated at our Franciscan church at Bahar ic-Caghaq. Fr. Eddie Pace OFM, Rector of the church, had been planning this new idea for a long time, and with the generous help of the people who form part of the congregation which prays in this church, his dream has now come true. The electronic system is played every hour during the day and can also be planned to be played manually.
