Epiphany at the Poor Clares Monastery

On Tuesday 6 January the Franciscan Province was invited to the feast of the Epiphany at the Poor Clares Monastery in St. Julian’s. At 6pm the Minister Provincial celebrated the Mass of the feast, during which he stressed on the significance of the magi and their gifts in relation to today’s world.

At the end of the Mass the Abbess, Sr. Rose Therese Ellis OSC also delivered a small speech in which told the friars that after celebrating the 800 yrs from the approval of the Franciscan rule, now it is important to focus on the 800 yrs from the foundation of the Poor Clares.
