For the Franciscan Order, the 4th of October is a special occasion since it is the feast of our Father Saint Francis. In the evening of October 3rd 1226 Francis passed away at his beloved Porziuncola chapel. In all the Franciscan churches on the 3rd we celebrated the passing away of St. Francis.
