On March 23 at Zammit Clapp Hospital, Fr. John Schranz OFM, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church at the age of 88.

The funeral leaves from the Franciscan Fathers, in Sliema, Thursday 25th March at 9.15am, for Sacro Cuor Parish, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

His work in the province was: Guardian,  Teacher of the Franciscan Students, Missionary in Honduras, Spiritual Diriector of Legon of Mary, responsable for the ministery for old people in our parish.

Franciscan profession 65 years, Priesthood 60 years and he was resideing at Dar tal-Kleru Christus Sacerdos.
