sacrocuor.jpgOn 13th November 2006 the Franciscan Province commemorates the 125 years of its Sacro Cuor Parish at Sliema. It was exactly on the 13th November 1881 that Fr. Paul Vella built the Church on the special request by the then Fr Provincial Anthony Cesal OFM. The church was passed to the Franciscans.

To celebrate this event, on Monday evening Fr. Provincial will preside a concelebrated Mass. A Franciscan Visit will also take place during the week.

The friars will be busy saying Mass in various house of the sick and elderly of the Parish. On Saturday a special mass will be said by Mgr Mario Grech Bishop of Gozo to conclude the celebrations.
