1st Prize at the Malta Book Fair

fonti.jpg“Fonti għall-Ħajja ta’ San Frangisk t’Assisi” (The Sources for the Life of Saint Francis of Assisi), has been awarded first prize in the translations category of books at the 22nd Malta Book Fair, which was held this week at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta. This is a two-volume publication was published last year by the Maltese Franciscan Province and Edizzjoni TAU, under the care of Fr. Noel Muscat OFM. It includes medieval biographies of St. Francis, with introductions, notes, and indexes. The translators worked over a period of nearly 20 years, and were Fr. Joseph Benedict Xuereb OFM, the late Fr. Marjanu Vella OFM, and Fr. Noel Muscat OFM.

The two volumes will be available at a special price, together with the newly-published volume “Fonti għall-Ħajja ta’ Santa Klara t’Assisi” (Sources for the Life of Saint Clare of Assisi), during the TAU Book Fair, which is going to be held on the 24, 25 and 26th November, at the friary of the Franciscans, in Saint Paul Street, Rabat. Together with the books there will be religious articles on sale.
