The Peace Lab and its director, Fr. Dionysius Mintoff, OFM have, for the fifth year, organised a Competition during the summer-school 2010 in the State’s schools around the Maltese Island. The 360 children that took part in the competition had to draw a painting showing the figure of St. Francis of Assisi and the love for Creation. The Director of Education, Mr. Gorg Borg and the Minister Provincial, Fr. Sandro Overend OFM, distributed the prizes won by the candidates: Nichole Aquilina from Safi’s Primary school, Daniela Cutajar from Mqabba’s Primary school, Isaac Bartolo from Lija’s Primary School and Kim Blundell from Birkikara Primary school.
