The Minister Provincial, Fr. Sandro Overend OFM together with the Provincial Sectretary, Fr. Alex Borg OFM, have been in Libya visiting the Franciscan Friars that are situated in Benghasi and Tripoli. The Provincial had personal meetings with the Bishops, Mgr. Sylvester Magro OFM in Benghasi and Mgr. Martinelli OFM in Tripoli. The visit and the meetings with the Friars were  planned in view of the Maltese OFM mid-term Provincial Chapter to be held here in Malta during the second week of  May 2011.
