The re-elected Minister General, Fr. Jose’ Rodriguez Carballo OFM, will be visiting our Province in Malta in October 2009. According to the communication sent by his personal secretary Fr. Francisco S. Arellano, he will be arriving to Malta on the 28th and will be leaving on the 30th October.

During his stay in Malta, he will be meeting the Archbishop, the Provincial Definitorium, Formators, the Vocation Equipppe and all the friars gathered together, probably at the Porziuncola Retreat House in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq. A meeting with the poor Clares will be also scheduled accordingly.

He will also preside a concelebrated Mass to mark the 800th anniversary of the OFM foundation completing the centenary celebrations that commenced on the 13th May 2009. More information will be given in the near future.
