Fr. Mark Ciantar OFM has just returned from the third Seminar on new forms of OFM evangelization in Europe which took place from 2nd to 6th May, at Sassone Ciampino-Rome.  Around 40 friars took part, including 3 Ministers Provincial; the friars came from Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania and Malta. A friar from Haiti was also invited.

At different times in the course of the seminar, the Minister General, the Vicar General and the majority of the General Definitors were present. Monsignor Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization, also spoke about the “New Evangelization in Europe”.
