On Saturday 28th May Fr Stephen Magro together with other six youth was ordained priest by Mgr. Mario Gerch, Bishop of Gozo.  The Solemn Mass started at 6:00pm at the Gozo Cathedral.

Fr. Stephen, was born on the 13th September 1963 from Floriana

On the 7th of October 1987 he entered the Franciscan Order and done his novitiate on 22nd September 1989.

On the 17th September 1990 he made his first temporary profession and on the 1st October 1995 he made his Solemn Profession.

Then on the 1 st october 2007 he resumed his studies at the major seminary in Gozo to become a Priest

On the 19 December 2009 at St. Anthony’s Church he became a deacon
