Fraternal celebration for the 63rd of the priestly ordination

63 years ago today 11th June 2012 Fr. Anthony Busuttil having been a franciscan friar at that time, celebrated the anniversary of his priestly ordination. Fr. Charles Grech and Fr. Stephen Magro who are residing in Pimlico — London planned to visit him in Hastings some 70 miles down the road where he resides and together we celebrated the Holy Eucharist in thanks giving for all these years in his ministry together with the Poor Claire’s Sisters and some of his friends.

It was a wonderful moment to even be with him to greet him a happy feast day which he celebrates on the 13th June the feast of St. Anthony of Padova. We have conveyed the greetings from the Minister Provincial and all the friars of the Maltese Province and promised him our prayers. After mass we had tea and biscuits and than we took him out for a meal to which he greatly appreciated such a gesture. We also promised him that we would visit him in the near future. AD MULTOS ANNOS!
