On the 4th September 2012, our novice Fr. Gerald Xuereb after completed his year of Novitiate in San Damiano in Assisi, made his first Profession for a year in our church of St Francis in Hamrun.
The celebration was preside by the Minister Provincial Rev. Fr. Sandro Overend OFM, during the homily he urged Gerald to follow the footsteps of Jesus. The vice master of novices, Fr Simone Ceccobao OFM, from the Umbria Seraphic Province in Assisi was also present for the celebration.
Monday 1st October 2012 Fr. Gerald is going to start his studies at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome and will form part of the Formation House of the Immaculate Conception Franciscan Province (USA).
We would like to wish Fr. Gerald success in his studies. May the Holy Spirit and our Virgin Mary be with him during his vocational life.
