The Minister Provincial, Fr. Sandro Overend OFM has visited the Friars, FR. Charles Grech, Fr. Stephen Magro and Fr. Victor Camilleri, in London. The Pastoral work being done with the Maltese patients who go to London foir health reasons is very much appreciated by the Maltese society. They visit the patients and accompany them with their spiritual needs all year round. During his visit in London, the Provincial visited the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred heart of Jesus. Present during these days was also the Mother Provincial, Sr. Josephine Xuereb. Fr. Sandro with the friars in London paid also a visit to Fr. Anthony Busuttil in Hastings. He also met with the High Comissioner, His Excellency Joseph Zammit Tabona.

On his way back to Malta, he stopped over in Rome to visit the Franciscan Students, Br. Aaron, Br. Clive, Br. Ramon and all the Fraternity in the Franciscan Formation House in Via Nicolo’ V. He also met Fr. Joseph Magro OFM working at the Commucications office at the General Curia and Fr. Walter Vassallo studying Cannon Law at the Antonianum.
