His Eminence, to mark the 50th anniversary of St. Joseph’s Crowning in Rabat, Mdina. To-day, His Eminence paid a visit to the Provincial Residence in Tas-Sliema.

Card. Jose’ Saraiva Martins, in the past years has been Titular bishop of the Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore Church in Piazza Navona.

He was happy to visit the Church that has the same Titular (Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) and was marvelled by the beauty of the titular Statue of Our Lady. At present he is Titular bishop of Paestrina in Rome.

Cardinal Saraiva Martins then joined the Franciscan Friars for a fraternal lunch. After lunch he thanked personally the cook for the wonderful meal she prepared..
A silver frame containing the photo of the Statue of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was offered to his Eminence. The Frairs were given
an image of Pope Francis.

His Eminence the Cardinal will return to Rome, tomorrow afternoon.
