The Minister Provincial and the Vicar Provincial, Fr. Sandro and Fr. Richard respectively, have presented a painting to Pope Francis during his last Genereal Audience before the summer recess. The painting represents St. Joseph as the patron Saint of the Universal Church and is a replica of the “Gagliardi” painting to be found in our Church at Rabat. This has been suggested by the Auxiliary Bishop of Malta, Mgr. Charles J. Scicluna.

The Provincial in the name of all the OFM Maltese Friars asked for the Pope’s blessing on the Province and promised him true fidelity and prayers.
