Fr. Anthony Chircop, Commissary of the Holy Land, together with Fr. Marcello Ghirlando, lecturer of Sacred Scripture at the Faculty of Theology in Malta, left for Israel with a TV crew from two local TV stations in Malta, in order to record a series of 25 documentaries on the various Holy Places associated with the Gospel narratives.

The documentaries will take the form of a progressive spiritual journey in the Holy Land, together with Jesus in the Gospels, from the sanctuary of the Annunciation in Nazareth, to the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, to the river Jordan, the Judean desert, to Capernahum, the “town of Jesus”, to Samaria and on to Jerusalem, in order to commemorate the Last Supper in the Cenacle, and Christ’s passion, death and resurrection on Calvary and in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
