After nearly three years, ofm.org.mt has been given a new layout. The layout as we announced has been modified to portray today’s technology. In fact the new layout has a live search device in which the news will pop up as you are typing and an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feature that can be used from all aggrregators or readers such as Google, Yahoo and any other news reader.

The user ‘subscribes’ to a feed by supplying to their reader a link to the feed; the reader can then check the user’s subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content since the last time it checked, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user. On the other hand we will leave a clean layout. A new feature is the Event Calendar that will display all the Franciscan Province’s events of the month with just pointing the mouse on the appropriate date.
