The Franciscan Friars with the collaboration of the various congregations of Franciscan Sisters present in Malta and the lay, are currently organising the Franciscan Visit (Żjara Franġiskana) which this year is going to be held at St. Andrews Parish (Tal-Ibrag). During the past months the programme was planned by Fr. Walter Vassallo OFM together with Parish Priest Fr. Tony Agius, so that the visit will take place between the 26th and the 31st August 2014.
As one can see in the link below, the programme includes daily mass and prayer at the Parish Church, home visits in the afternoon, Bible sharing in families, and the disponibility of Franciscan Friars at the Parish Church to hear confession. The theme chosen for this year is “We are one body in Christ” Rm 12,5.
