On the 4th October 2014, at St. Mary of Jesus Church in Valletta, the Minister Provincial Fr. Richard S. Grech O.F.M. together with a beautiful number of the Friars from different friaries in Malta, gathered to celebrate the Feast of Our Father Francis of Assisi. A celebration of the Eucharist animated by the “Coro bel Canto”, in a beautifully adorned Church, an Architectural jewel in the City. The Minister spoke to the brethren in a heartfelt homily inviting us to take the opportunity of this celebration and the 100 years of the Erection of our Province of St. Paul the Apostle in Malta, to do some “Soul Searching”. To dig deep in our original call, as each Friar recollect what brought me to the Franciscan Order.

“Bonasera buona gente”, with this greeting to each person who within ourselves holds goodness, because created to the Image of God. But as humans with mistakes and failures.

Afterwards a moment of Fraternal Agape was held at the ANTONIANUM CENTRE and Refreshments were served.
