The Minister Provincial Fr. Richard Stanley Grech ofm attended the meeting of the English Speaking Conference of the Order of Friars Minor between the 6th and the 11th October, 2014.

The meeting was held at Mt. St. Francis Retreat Centre in Calgary, Canada. Thirteen other Ministers Provincial from the United States, Canada, England, Ireland and Lithuania also participated in the ESC-OFM.

During the first day of the meeting the Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, Fr. Michael Anthony Perry ofm, was present and addressed the brother Ministers Provincial gathered there.

The meeting of the ESC-OFM is held twice a year and aims to bring together the Ministers Provincial of the English Speaking Provinces of the Order in a spirit of true Franciscan unity, solidarity and joyful worship and sharing.
