Fr. Paul Galea OFM, Minister provincial has just returned from the UFME meeting which was held in Sarajevo.  The meeting dealt with inter-religious dialogue in Europe, especially with Islam.  

The meetings dealt upon the political cultural Franciscan sphere, Islam and Europe today from a sociological perspective.  The friars also discussed the theme Christianity and Islam from an Islamic perspective, from a theological point of view and from a Franciscan point of view. During this meeting there was also the election of the new president of UFME.
