The Franciscan Province last Saturday 24 November organised a Mass at the Addolorata Cemetery. The Mass is celebrated each year in the funerary chapel of the Province, during the month of November in order to pray for the friars who have left us and now rest in peace.

The Mass was presided by the Minister Provincial Fr. Paul Galea OFM and the friars were encouraged to concelebrate. After the Mass the blessing of the graves took place.

Earlier this month, the Gozo Franciscan Fraternity also celebrated a Mass and blessed the graves of the friars and Secular Franciscans at the Gozo Cemetry in Xewkija.
