Joseph Ciappara and Walter Vassallo are the two novices of the Maltese Franciscan Province who are currently living at San Damiano, together with other Franciscan novices from the Italian provinces of Umbria and Naples. They started their novitiate last September.

In the beginning of January Fr. Joseph Magro, Provincial Vocations Promoter, Fr. Alfred Sciberras from the Valletta fraternity, together with the parents of the two novices, payed them a visit at San Damiano. During their stay Joseph and Walter wrote down their experience of these first four months as Novices. We are placing this experience on line. It is available only in the Maltese language.
