Christmas Letter from Minister Provincial

St. Francis and Baby JesusIn a Letter sent to all friars for the Christmas Season, the Minister Provincial Fr. Paul Galea OFM said that the Year 2008 is a special year for all the province, because of the canonical visit of Fr. Austin McCormack in preparation for the upcoming Provincial chapter, and also for the proceedings of the National Congress for Religious Life. He also mentioned the importance to be available for various roles in the province.

Furthermore he continued to stress on  the importance of the Advent and Christmas season and on the need that the People of God wait for the coming of the Messiah, while believing that God will maintain his promises. He continued to say that it is important to have a sense of humility like that of Christ.  He finished his letter by wishing a warm Christmas to every friar and that the Child Jesus would remain with us throughout our whole life.
