In the Franciscan Church of Għajnsielem in Gozo, the preparations for the Feast of St. Anthony are in full swing. The preparations are all on a liturgical basis and cover all aspects of the life of the local community.

The feast, which is going to be held on the 13th of June, is prepared by 13 Tuesdays which is the day of the week that is dedicated to this Saint. The 13 Tuesdays will began on the 14 th March with a mass for all the benefactors of the church and of the friary. This will continue every Tuesday till the 6th of June with the investiture of the altar servers.

This year is also the first centenary of the blessing of the church.
