On August 30 at the Franciscan Friary in Rabat, Fr. Bennardin Sant OFM, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church at the age of 78. 

The funeral leaves from the Franciscan Fathers, in Rabat Monday 1th September at 8.45am, for St. Mary of Jesus church (ta’ Ġieżu) Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.00 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
