On the 10th September, His Grace Mgr. Annetto Depasquale, Vicar General, officiated Fr. Joe Caruana’s oath as the Parish Priest of “Madonna tas-Sacro Cuor” franciscan parish in Sliema.

The New Parish Priest was accompanied by the Minister Provincial, Fr. Sandro Overend OFM and the Provincial Vicar, Fr. Richard S. Grech OFM. A concelebrated mass, presided by the Archbishop of Malta, will be held at the parish on the 25th September 2008 for the occasion of Fr. Joe’s new ministry.
