On 23rd December Dr Antoine Mifsud Bonnici, M.D., B.Pharm., B.Sc., 73, was given the affiliation with the Maltese Francsican Province from the Minister Provicial Sandro Overend OFM in a ceremony during a Mass in our Franciscan Church in Hamrun.

The Minister General Fr. José Rodriguez Carballo, OFM in the name of the Franciscan Province, accepted the request of the minister provincial and definitory and the Hamrun fraternity: “Wishing to give testimony to you of our gratitude for your love and care for the Friars of the Order of St. Francis of Assisi in Hamrun and your veneration for the life of St. Francis and the franciscan spirituality.

We affiliate you to our fraternity of the Order of Friars Minor, in communion of prayer, sacrifice and works of charity, and ask the Most High, through the intercession of St. Francis, to bless and confirm this spiritual communion.

Dr. Antoince has generously given his service to the frairs for the last 40 years.
