On Easter Monday, 17 April, the Franciscan Province organized an outing for all the friars. In fact, a good number of friars met together to enjoy this sunny day of rest after the hectic Easter celebrations. At 10am the friars met in a restaurant in Mellieha for coffee and snacks. After an hour they left for a walk in the countryside of the northern section of Malta. There they could enjoy splendid views, while stopping to enjoy a meal cooked on a BBQ. The good food and the friendship of being together were a boost to the morale of all the participants in order to resume their apostolate and work in a Franciscan spirit of joy.
