More photos from our past. A photo says a thousand words and more. These photos are courtesy of Fr. Joseph Camilleri ofm. We can see him with his brother Fr. Jojn Joseph Camilleri ofm and Fr. Peter Paul Meilaq ofm. There is also a photo of Fr. John Joseph ofm ‘chatting’ with a bird which is listening to him attentively. A photo also with the late Fr. Francis Xavier Cauchi ofm during a day outing at Ta Pinu Sanctuary in November, 1960. Some photos depict the friars going to Commino for day outing in two consecutive years, 1960 and 1961. Another photo taken also in 1960 during a day outing to commemorate the centenary of St. Paul, in the company of some folks. and a photo of Fr. Joseph ofm and Fr. Peter Paul ofm at the beach known as “ Ramla l-Hamra”, Gozo.Those were the days.....

More photos from years gone by, kindly provided to us by Fr. Eddie Pace ofm who is also in the photos and remembers well when they were taken. These photos were taken in the 60s. All of them, save for one, were taken at our Church and friary in Rabat. One may notice the good number of students in formation those years. The choir of the Franciscan students under the direction of Fr. Victor Camilleri ofm and in another photo, during a concert under the direction of the late Mro. Anton Muscat Azzopardi, held in the church of St. Mary of Jesus, Rabat, in the presence of the late Archbishop Sir Michael Gonzi. This photo depicts a number of friars, some of whom are still with us, others the Lord has called to eternal life. As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our province it is rightful to remember all those friars who have helped forge our province throughout the years. We are very grateful to them and their work, mindful of the fact that we owe them so much, and mindful also of our responsibility to pass on to those after us what these have passed on to us. If anyone can remember the place and the occasion that this photo depicts and who the man in the middle in the front row is, or even recognise these friars, it would be greatly appreciated if one would share with us in the comments section.
