In an emotional ceremony to which a good number of friars attended, Walter Vassallo and Joseph Ciappara began the experience of the Franciscan way of life. 
The first meeting of the provincial JPIC commission was held on Friday the 29th of July 2005 at 10.30am at the provincial curia in Valletta. 
TAU Edition has just published a new translation in Maltese of the New Testament. The translation has been done from the well known biblical scholar Fr. Guido Schembri OFM.
