In the last days the Church of Malta has issued a manual for spiritual leaders and for youth groups on the book and film 'The Da Vinci Code'. 
The Franciscan fraternity of the church of Saint Mary of Jesus (Ta' Giezu) in Valletta, is going to organize a monthly prayer meeting in front of the miraculous Crucifix venerated in this church. The prayer meeting is to be held every last Friday of every month from 8 till 9.30pm. 
The Minister Provincial Fr. Paul Galea OFM, together with Fr. Stephen Magro OFM, flew to Italy on 8th May in order to meet the Maltese Franciscan Novices, Walter Vassallo and Joseph Ciappara, who are currently living in the novitiate house at San Damiano, Assisi. 
On 18th April, the Bishop of Gozo, Mgr. Mario Grech, paid a second visit to the Franciscan fraternity of Saint Anthony's Church in Ghajnsielem, as well as to the Christian community which prays in this church.
